My first giveaway, how exciting!
It has come to my attention that the responses to one of my previous posts were that quite a few of you out there who have never tried Miso Mayo ! Shocked as I was, I am now very pleased that I have been given the opportunity to offer you a chance to win a bottle of Miso Mayo!
Miso Mayo is a great vegan soy based condiment that is so versatile and is a great alternative to mayonnaise and other high fat dressings. It comes in three great flavors: Spicy Red Pepper, Original, & Garlic 'N' Dill. It is also dairy, gluten, egg, cholesterol & sugar free. You can find Miso Mayo in the refrigerated area of your local Wholefoods, Wild Oats or health food store. If you can't find a store that carries it you can order MISO MAYO at http://www.misomayo.com/.
My favorite flavor is the Spicy Red Pepper, it has a nice kick to it. All three flavors are very tasty and I will use any of them I have on hand. Just so you all know I'm not a big mayonnaise fan and Miso Mayo is so much better and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as our family does. We use it in our veggie sushi, on veggie burgers and sandwiches; just about anything that needs a squirt of sauce on it. You must try it for yourself!

I've been meaning to try Miso Mayo! How cool!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I think I would try Spicy Red Pepper 1st. My husband would love it & I like some zing!
I think I would like to try the original flavor first so that I have some versatility. I just hope it doesn't taste too much like real mayonnaise because that stuff gives me the willies.
ReplyDeleteHey Jo. I went to the miso mayo site from your link and couldn't figure out where to go from there to enter. I must be missing something! Help.
ReplyDeleteI would like to try them all but the garlic 'n dill looks the tasty-est. I like mayo on my sunshine burgers so that's where I would use it first.

Count me in for the Miso Mayo give away. Sorry for the confusion. If there is a choice- Original for veggie burgers.
ReplyDeleteOh man, it'd be so cool to win this! I've been meaning to try miso mayo. It's very intriguing. I'd like to try the original flavor to make tofu salad!
ReplyDeleteI'm boring and would go for the original flavor. sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteThey all sound good! I bet they'd be good on pasta :)
ReplyDeletesounds amazing!!! i wish i could enter.. but this little vegan is allergic!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting our blog! Glad we stumbled upon each other's blogs - all your food posts look delicious! Never tried Miso Mayo or seen it at the stores! Looks wonderful though. There are alot of recipes that look delicious that use mayo... potato salad, tofu egg salad sandwiches, or even creamy sauces for wraps. I would love to try the Red Pepper Miso Mayo to make a creamy tofu egg salad sandwich or a veggie wrap with a creamy sauce! Yum.
ReplyDeleteThose look great!! I would say Orginal would be the one I would like to try (since it IS the best seller!).
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I would definitely go for the Original, and perhaps make an Asian-inspired potato salad.
ReplyDeleteI'd try the garlic 'n' dill variety, maybe in some potato salad or on a sandwich.
ReplyDeletei would use the spicy red pepper on a tofu sandwich! i bet that would be good! thanks for finding my blog because it allowed me to find yours!
ReplyDeleteOoh I have never tried this stuff, but have heard about it. The spice red pepper sounds intriguing. Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks. Hope you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteSpicy Red Pepper for me! All the way-- and I'd use it to top a fajita. Not the most creative, but I'm sure it would be delicious!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to post this on my blog. Cool give-away!
I would love to try the original Miso Mayo (or maybe the spicy one...hm...) This stuff sounds like it's be awesome in a grilled vegetable wrap!
ReplyDeleteOoooh my, that sounds so delicious. I would most DEF try the spicy red pepper one. It would be delicious on a portebello burger, I'm sure. Or even in sushi! Yum.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely have to try the Orignal first (though the Spicy Red Pepper sounds delicious!) on pretty much everything, but especially fries. The french fry test never fails for a sauce/condiment.
ReplyDeleteChoices, choices! I'd use garlic and dill for a sandwich or tater salad. Or, I could use spicy red pepper for a vegan riff on dynamite. Either way, they all sound tasty! :D
ReplyDeleteI would use Spicy Red Pepper on nachos -- yummy!
ReplyDeleteMMM, never had it before! I think I'd get the Garlic n' Dill and douse french fries or baked potato wedges with it!
ReplyDeleteI linked it too!
ReplyDeleteI'm Canadian, so I know I can't win, but I had my ideas, so I figured I'd post anyway! :)
ReplyDeleteI made spanakopita not too long ago, and I made my own lemon sweet sauce for dipping, but I think the garlic and dill miso mayo would be great as both a dipping sauce and/or to use in the filling of the spanakopita itself.
Also, I made pomegranate BBQ tofu from vegan with a vengeance. and I used it in mini-sammiches (piece of tofu, sprouts, cucumber, kale, olive ciabbata bread, and my own miso-tahini butter [which was just a mix of miso, tahini, and earth balance] ). BUT, i think the spicy mayo would have been a great addition instead of the miso-tahini butter for a little kick.
I heard there was a wasabi flavor. I bet it would be great on fresh peas?
ReplyDeleteHow wild! I would have never dreamed of miso made as a mayo. ha ha! I think I would start out with the Original so I can use it on a bunch of stuff!
